Supersuccessi n. 3 is a conceptual collection of instrumental music released in 1978 by the Italian label Deri Records (a sublabel of the renowned Milanese company Saar). The Green Future label hid a studio project of Italian composers and arrangers created specifically for this series of records.

The album is part of the rare "Supersuccessi" series (at least four volumes were released), in which the orchestra reimagined the biggest pop hits, film themes, and disco smashes of the era in a lush instrumental style.

In the 1970s, there was a huge demand in Italy (and Europe as a whole) for so-called "functional" or high-quality background rock/pop. Supersuccessi n. 3 by The Green Future is a masterfully arranged mosaic of cover versions of key tracks from 1977–1978, performed by leading Italian session musicians.

Here you can hear instrumental adaptations of sultry Eurodisco (such as Boney M. hits) as well as arrangements of beautiful Italian pop ballads. Green Future is notable for not simply blindly copying the originals, but adding elements of soft funk, cosmic pads, and a refined European gloss to the arrangements, making this record a valuable find for collectors of vintage lounge and archival instrumental music.
