Jazba - Invoca (2026)

Invoca EP is the result of a year of learning and unlearning - in life, in love, in ego, in memory, and in the ongoing process of becoming who we are. What we needed to release slowly found its way into the music. Combining Arturia plugins, acoustic instruments, and their own vocals, Jazba created a rich and immersive sonic world. The EP includes three original tracks and three remixes. Invoca - A meditative opening piece built around haunting duduk melodies and the voice of Bas, one-half of Jazba. Singing in Spanish - Bas sounds like a shaman inviting the listener on a mysterious journey through emotions and memory. A grounding guitar rhythm keeps the track anchored, preventing the listener from drifting too deeply into introspection. Invoca (Turu Anasi Remix) - Turu Anasi transforms Invoca in his signature style, layering electric piano and percussion while making elements of the original bounce and spring throughout the track. Mallets complement the vocals and add a more driving, pumping energy. Subtle synths blend seamlessly with the original duduk melody, creating a dynamic and organic reinterpretation. Invoca (Kaöb Remix) - Produced in December 2025 in Dali, this remix was born between travel and introspection. Inspired by the poetic Spanish vocals and the track's Arabic influences, Kaöb translates the spirit of Invoca into a groovy and fiery journey. La Marea del Sol - A warm coastal drift between tide, memory, and soul. The title translates as The Tide of the Sun. Built around a gently pulsing rhythm that subtly shifts in speed, the track features Bas on guitar and pan flute. Together, Jazba sought to create a warm and uplifting space where flow is everything. La Marea del Sol (Somko Remix) - Somko adds a subtle and refined touch to the original, preserving its laid-back atmosphere while introducing deeper sub frequencies and additional electronic textures. The track gradually evolves into a more defined 4/4 groove, making it perfect for dancing barefoot on a beach at sunset. Invocation - is a more accessible reinterpretation of Invoca, with a faster pulse and a more immediate emotional flow. Created to offer another perspective on the same concept, it makes the spirit of the original available for different moods and listening environments while preserving its core message of introspection and transformation.
