"Home in Any Language" is a unique two-sided compilation by Rain Parade, combining a live acoustic performance with a rare studio recording. The first side is a recording from a KCRW radio session (June 2025), where the band performed four compositions spanning different creative periods: from a landmark 1982 track to fresh songs from 2023-2024. The second side opens with a contemporary remix by Jim Hill on a classic from their recent EP, followed by a previously unreleased ten-minute psychedelic opus created during the same period as 2023 material. The project serves as a document of the band's creative renaissance, showcasing its evolution from classic new wave toward experimental psychedelic forms.
