The release brings together rare recordings from three closely related bands from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who represented the local underground scene of the 1960s: The Emperors, Soul Exotics, and their later incarnation, Emperors Soul 69.

This release is a true treasure for vintage groove collectors. It brings together under one cover the legacy of underrated garage funk masters, whose original 45s (7" singles) now fetch high prices at auction.
