The Sons Of Fred – Baby What You Want Me to Do (2016)

Although The Sons of Fred never released a full-length studio album in the 1960s, they remained one of the most vibrant and respected bands of the British mod scene. Their 2016 release on Cherry Red/Grapevine brought together their entire surviving legacy for the first time.

The album's centerpiece is the title track, a cover of Jimmy Reed's classic blues standard "Baby What You Want Me to Do," reworked with a bold, raw, and driving guitar accompaniment. The anthology includes the band's official singles (released on Parlophone and Columbia), as well as unreleased demos, outtakes, and alternative mixes.
