Lagoss releases Tenerife Ghost Healing Mix '78, a mix assembled from material recorded back in 2020 that captures an early stage of the project's sound. It's a humid, proto-cyber tropical atmosphere in which synthetic textures, worn-down rhythms, and muted melodic fragments gradually dissolve into one another. Noise, softened rhythmic patterns, and synthetic layers pile up into a dense form of ambient saturation, where thickness matters more than direction, and repetition functions not as a structural device but as a means of restoration and immersion. The sound is deliberately left raw: minimal signal correction, unprocessed signal paths, and a sense that the music is always on the verge of slipping out of control. Built from outtakes, alternate versions, and rough sketches, the material favors atmosphere over compositional structure, sounding slower and more introspective than earlier Lagoss work. In essence, it's less a remix than a distorted, time-refracted memory of the original sessions — filtered through heat and signal decay, and deliberately left unfinished.
