Roller One - Fate Done Nice (2026)

Roller One will release their fourth album, Fate Done Nice, on April 17th via Cheersquad Records & Tapes. The band features core members McAlpine and Adam Afiff, alongside former bandmates Simon Edwards and Nick Herle, with guest appearances by Georgia Knight and Cahill Kelly. This project showcases an electrically charged sound that maintains the collective's signature organic warmth. The tracks draw inspiration from a wide range of places, from Australian suburban landscapes to international locations like Berlin. Each composition captures specific moments in time and human experience, building on a fifteen-year tradition of "counter-country" Americana. The collection continues the band's legacy of atmospheric and eloquent songwriting, solidifying their place within the broad spectrum of contemporary alt-country and folk music.
