Ann Arbor-based musician, singer, and bassist Kelsey Detering presents her debut full-length studio album LOVE HARD, released on August 7, 2026. Following an energetic live performance at the Austin Rhythm Revival showcase during SXSW 2026, the artist solidified her sound at the intersection of old school rock, rock n' roll, and bass-driven disco. Comprising 16 tracks led by the single "Wasted," the album was crafted as a cohesive "organic concept album." The record seamlessly weaves together danceable grooves, emotional ballads, instrumental segments, and classic album segues, exploring profound themes of passion, physical and emotional connection, love, and heartbreak.
