Akasha - Akasha (1977)

The self-titled album by the Norwegian band Akasha, released in 1977 on the independent label BAT Records, is one of the rarest and most treasured records in the history of Scandinavian progressive rock. The original vinyl pressing was extremely limited (only about 500 copies), making the album a long-standing cult underground rarity.

Despite its release in the second half of the 1970s, its musical content and concept harken back to the classic "golden era" of prog from the early part of the decade.
