Northern Kind – 53°N (2007)

The debut album "53°N" (2007) by the English duo Northern Kind (Matt Noyes - keyboards, arrangements, Sarah Bradbury - vocals, lyrics) became one of the highlights of the independent British synth-pop scene of the second half of the 2000s. The album's title refers to the latitude (53°N) of their hometown, Leicester.

The plastic retro aesthetic of the '80s, combined with a modern, dense dance production, attracted the attention of connoisseurs of pure analog electronic music worldwide.
