The Steve Bonino Project - Stargazer (2018)

The album "Stargazer" is part of Steve Bonino's sci-fi conceptual trilogy (along with "Stargazer 2" and "The Visions of the Apocalyptic Stargazer"), dedicated to space travel, exploration of the universe, and profound human experiences.

The album tells the story of an astronaut (Stargazer) embarking on a solo space journey to distant galaxies. During the mission, the protagonist encounters loneliness, the grandeur of space, and a search for his place in the universe.

The music is melodic progressive rock with rich arrangements. The sound combines classic prog keyboards and synthesizers, expressive guitar solos, elements of cinematic orchestration, and captivating vocal harmonies.

Bonino's work is often compared to the music of Spock's Beard, The Neal Morse Band, Alan Parsons Project, and Yes for its vibrant melodies, cinematic scale, and accessible yet technical delivery.

Steve Bonino recorded and produced virtually all the instruments and vocals himself, using only a few guest musicians, making the album a truly original work.
