Mars Bonfire - MB2 (2018)

Mars Bonfire is a veteran of the 1960s rock scene, whose contemporary work retains the spirit of the old school, but in a rawer, more independent ("garage") form.

MB2 (2018) is a rare and eclectic solo release from Canadian musician Mars Bonfire, the legendary anthemist behind Steppenwolf. The album is a deeply personal collection of laconic, eccentric, and rhythmically unconventional compositions, recorded in intimate, almost home-studio settings, with an emphasis on the composer's freedom from industrial cliches.
