The Divine Baze Orchestra - Once We Were Born... (2007)

Once We Were Born... (2007) is the debut studio album by the Swedish retro-prog/psychedelic rock band The Divine Baze Orchestra, released on the German independent label Transubstans Records.

Warm, analog, vintage, and dramatic, the album's soundscape is permeated with passages of Hammond organ, Mellotron, and flute, as well as a harmonious blend of heavy guitar riffs and folky acoustic interludes. The band's music is directly inspired by the golden era of progressive rock of the 1970s and echoes the work of Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Yes, and their fellow Swedish bands (Anekdoten, Trettioåriga Kriget).
