Arovane - Atol Scrap (2021 Remaster) (2000) [Hi-Res]

In the late 1990s, German musician Uwe Zahn, known as Arovane, began releasing music on the independent label DIN, founded by Torsten Pröfrock (Dynamo), alongside electronic producers Robert Henke (Monolake) and Stefan Betke (Pole). The underground electronic music scene quickly recognized the quality of the label's output, which operated at the intersection of IDM, glitch, and abstract techno. Following several successful EPs, Arovane delivered his debut full-length album Atol Scrap, featuring a mix of melodic harmonies, complex off-beat rhythms, and advanced sound design. Despite the album's acclaim in experimental circles, it remained digitally exclusive for decades until Arovane secured a proper vinyl release. The eleven-track collection retains its sonic relevance through intricate production, with the reissue remastered by Kassian Troyer at D&M and cover artwork created by Jim Kühnel based on Zahn's original photograph.
