Alain Bradette - To My Loved Ones (2026)

Alain Bradette uses tenor and soprano saxes along with the EWI to paint modern jazz portaits on this gallery of origianls. He’s joined by Zach Muth/g, Tal Cohen/p, Thomas Milovac/b and Caleb Montague/dr, and uses his warm and breathy tenor to its strengths, going mellow and rich on the floating and soft “Apart”, floating over Cohen’s deft ivories on the delicate “Butterfly Angel (For Courtney)” or grooving with Milovac on the post bopping uptempo’d “Pandemic”. His soprano gives a kind of Weather Reportish feel alongside Cohen’s keyboard work on “Flying High (For Ian” and is savory sweet on “Beautiful Brown Eyes”. Loved ones worth cherishing.~ By George W.
