Trumpet innovator Josh Lawrence has released his eighth studio album, Philly Twisted, through Posi-Tone Records. The 10-track CD serve as a tribute to Philadelphia's rich jazz legacy, seamlessly blending classical tradition with a forward-looking vision.

To record the project, Lawrence assembled an all-star ensemble of accomplished bandleaders, including saxophonist Willie Morris, trombonist Altin Sencalar, pianist Art Hirahara, bassist Boris Kozlov, and drummer Rudy Royston. The group showcases a balance of virtuosic performance and compositional depth, delivering a vibrant, melodic, and authentic jazz recording.
