Agents Of Mercy - The Fading Ghosts of Twilight (2009)

The Fading Ghosts of Twilight (2009) is the debut album by Agents of Mercy, originally conceived by The Flower Kings' mastermind Roine Stolt as a more intimate, acoustic-oriented project. However, after joining forces with vocalist Nad Sylvan (later renowned for his work with S. Hackett), the album evolved into a full-fledged, virtuosic symphonic prog release. The record successfully combines the theatrical drama of the 1970s with melodic accessibility and rich guitar-keyboard interweaving.
