Taking Forever (2010) is the third and one of the most cohesive albums by the Californian quartet Forever Twelve, released on the independent prog label 10T Records. Formed by multi-instrumentalist Steve Lasche and keyboardist Tom Greer, this album embodies the classic sound of 1970s symphonic prog, adapted for the American neo-prog tradition. The album is built around expansive instrumental sweeps, philosophical lyrics about time and human aspirations, and polyphonic arrangements underpinned by rich analog keyboards.
