Haunted By Real Life (1991) is the only major debut from Florida vocalist Schascle Yochim, later known as Twinkle in the project Rock Soul Radio. Recorded with top-notch session musicians and producers (including Patrick Leonard), the album is a refined example of American sophisti-pop and blues-soul of the early 1990s. The record combines the cinematic, polished studio production aesthetic of the period with raw, deeply personal, and expressive vocals, exploring themes of romantic vulnerability, urban twilight, and inner struggle.
