Dungen - Skit I Allt (2010)

Skit I Allt (2010) (translated from Swedish as "I Don't Care") is one of the most cohesive, refined, and internally balanced albums in the discography of Swedish modern psychedelia flagships Dungen. Compared to the rawer, more aggressive distortion of their breakthrough works Ta Det Lugnt (2004) and 4 (2008), on this record, Gustav Estessjö shifts the emphasis toward dynamic transparency, pastoral folk, jazzy improvisation, and Canterbury elegance. Recorded exclusively on analog tape equipment, the album demonstrates the band's virtuoso teamwork and ability to seamlessly intertwine Scandinavian melancholy with acid rock drive.
