The Rolling Stones - Mr Charm (2026) [Hi-Res]

The Rolling Stones are putting forward "Mr. Charm" as their new single, with an official music video that premiered today. Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the track appears on the Stones album *Foreign Tongues*. Behind the confident charmer lies a narrator who prefers spending money to earning it and tries to impress his beloved with words. Even Elon Musk makes an appearance in the song—according to Jagger, as a roundabout way to praise his achievements in space exploration.

It all started with a riff from Jagger, to which keyboardist Matt Clifford added a rhythm. Keith then came up with a guitar figure that transformed the demo, and Ronnie Wood built upon that. Steve Winwood also contributed, playing the Hammond organ. "With 'Mr. Charm,' it’s almost like a half-rap; it has to lock in precisely with the hi-hat patterns," Jagger explains. Drums, bass, guitars, and vocals had to align perfectly, allowing his initial idea to evolve into a collaborative Stones track. Look out for it in the new TIP 30AC!
