The Troggs' "Black Bottom" is a landmark 1981 release, marking the band's seventh studio album. The album arrived during a period when the garage rock and proto-punk of the 1960s, pioneered by The Troggs, were receiving a new wave of recognition thanks to the punk revolution of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
