In response to your post. First, thanks for the review! Bob Keane, with Del-Fi Records signed us to do this album at Western Studios off Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood. This was later than Ritchie Valens and the Bobby Fuller Four. We started off as The Dumplings (a horrible name by Charlie Hendrix). David Ferguson and Charlie Hendrix wrote well together, highly influenced by British Rock and particularly the Beatles. Charlie ended up joining the cult the Children of God and was replaced for a few of the songs on the album by a guy named Bruce. Bob Keane lost his studio by the later part of 1968 the band split up. David went on to teaching guitar. John played in the Blues Stew and currently in South City Blues Band. Clint Williams and I went on to played with a young amazing guitarist, Bill Connors, who a few years later played with Chick Corea's Return to Forever. I also got drafted in 1969 and played in a touring US Army Soldier Show and currently a Portland area blues group Blue Blazes.
