Le poids de l'Age (78 ans) se fait terriblement ressentir sur cet album....on est loin du Grand Jonasz du Mr Mister Swing....pour les inconditionnels de Jonasz....moi je n'arrive pas a franchir le pas à l'écoute....l'articulation forcée/hachée me freine....mais indéniablement c'est un immense artiste...

Esme, sometimes in live performances of "Fledermaus" (on special occasions like Christmas or New Year, etc.) the opera is performed with a "Gala" section during Prince Orloffsky's Act. People will sing unrelated arias, etc. for fun. Karajan recorded such a version.

Olga, I would be surprised if Karajan put his name on something he did not conduct.

This is the Amazon 24-96/192 version Hi-Res, I can add the Qobuz version too, but everything there is in 24-96 format.
