Pohnjaul - Sounds for Practical Living (2017)

Sounds For Practical Living is the fourth release by duo Pohnjaul, and the first release to premiere on Feelin Music. The EP, produced between 2014 & 2017 with the exception of “Chillin with the Fawn” (2011), explores a broad array of themes ranging from war, to daily rituals, dialog, and romance. With the support and contribution of Alex Quetell (Sax, 'Chillin with the Fawn'), Ryan Demeniuk (Drum Set, 'Give it Up'), & Brad Hatfield (Guitar & Co- composer, 'Right Back') this release represents a long awaited break from hiatus, and continues Pohnjaul's use of live performance, recording arts & collage to inform a studio practice bent on navigating an evolving relationship to music, environment and sound.
