Nuke Watch - Grave New World (2025) [Hi-Res]

"Grave New World" is the tenth album from Nuke Watch, the project of Chris Hontos and Aaron Anderson. The music is a live free improvisation where modular synths, bass, saxophone, and percussion create a freaked-out and glowing soundscape. Although echoes of fusion, jazz, and Afrobeat can be heard in the sound, the album eludes clear genre definitions. Reviewer Sasha Frere-Jones describes the music as the sound of "an electric world mulching itself" and as a unique form of "world music" born from the collision of completely different cultures and ideas in one space.
