As a self taught singer/songwriter I attempt to use my weaknesses and develop them into strengths. A first recording from singer/songwriter Erica B, paying homage to the first years of her work in gender transition. The album encompasses stories and experiences from that time in her life. Drawing from elements from the folk and dream pop genres, songs range from airy and melancholy to positive and affirming. All singing and guitar are from Erica B. Simon de Voil contributed the beautiful piano pieces on "the Ice Cream Girl" and "I Should Write You a Letter."
