Legendary Italian producer Giuseppe De Bellis (aka Anesthesia) returns together with Adrian Paul Wilding and Claus Norreen on his always impressive Kotangens imprint, serving up some truly unique electronic music that has earned him accolades from top producers such as Martin Gore and Orb. Here the leftfield veteran serves up a full length release in the form of Gea: a 7-track trip of eclectic flavours, spanning across various moods and tempos. It's a departure from his contorted takes on deep atmosphere sound that he's presented in recent years. Flexing his matured production credits, Hikikomori fuses cosmic/hypnotic deep on "Helium" and "Alba", neon-lit coldwave on "Sand" and psychedelic vocal influences on the epic "Magnet" - meticulously put together on his machines resulting in a spectrum of sounds to satisfy most palettes.
