Geraint Watkins - Watkins Bold as Love (1997/2018)

Geraint Watkins is for most an undiscovered treasure. After the 'Geraint Watkins & The Dominators' album in 1979, Geraint was in demand to play with artists such as Van Morrison, Dave Edmunds, Rory Gallagher, Mark Knopfler, Nick Lowe, Status Quo, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, Paul McCartney and many others. Consequently, his second album was not until 1997 when Nick Lowe's producer, Neil Brockbank heard some bedroom recordings Geraint had made. Together with drummer Bob Irwin (aka Trehern) and with Nick's assistance, they put together the upbeat 'Watkins Bold As Love' album on their Bluefive label to showcase original Geraint compositions.
