This group is considered to be the successor of the group H.P.Lovecraft, which in my opinion is not entirely correct. These two groups are from Chicago, and after the dissolution of H. P. Lovecraft, two of her members - guitarist and vocalist George Edwards and percussionist Michael Tegza created a new band. They invited guitarist Jim Donlinger and bassist Michael Been (both from the band Aorta), and then keyboardist and vocalist Marty Grebb (ex-The Buckinghams). Soon Edwards left the band and had nothing to do with her music. On this album, the authors are musicians who are not part of H.P.Lovecraft, so their music is in no way similar to that "old" band, but looks like a mixture of Jefferson Airplane, early Uriah Heep and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Soon after the release of the album, this group disintegrated. But in 1975 another album was released under the name of the band Lovecraft - We Love You Whoever You Are (but there's a completely different lineup, besides the ubiquitous drummer Michael Tegza). And the fate of these musicians is this: Michael Beane, along with Jerry Miller and Bob Mosley (both from Moby Grape), and John Craviotto (John Craviotto) created the Fine Wine group, which recorded the self-titled album in 1976. Then in 1980 Been created the band The Call, with whom he achieved the greatest success in his career. Marty Grebb created the band The Fabulous Rhinestones in the late 70's, and is also known for his solo activity and session work (for example, with Bonnie Raitt).
