DREAMWORLD is the project of Klaus and Rolf Fichter, two multi-instrumentalists from Germany. They were leaders of YATHA SIDHRA whose 1972 album "Meditation Mass" made an impact. In 1980 DREAMWORLD released "On Flight to the Light" and stated that the music "expresses a deep sensibility for fundamental human desires such as warmth, tenderness, happiness and love. DREAMWORLD wants to uncover beautiful things in ever-changing variations".
The musicians consist of Klaus Fichter on vocals, electronic drums, congas, cymbals, gong, synthesizer, and guitar, and Rolf Fichter on vocals, synthesizer, mellotron, vibraphone, flute, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass. The tracks on the album range from acoustic vibrations to shimmering organ phrases. The flute drifts in over a wind effect, and dreamy piano and spacey synths form an ambient soundscape. There is even a four part symphony to close the album.
