Michael Coltham - Persevere (2019)

Michael Coltham is a British musician and composer based in Maidstone, near London, who considers music to be the simple communication of intense emotion. Being emotionally adorned, his music uses simple arrangements with deep, rich and complex characteristics that combine the beautiful, natural resonance of individual sounds. Underpinning traditional instrumentation and modern textures with a pop approach to composition and arrangement, results in storytelling that blurs the lines between genres, his oeuvre becoming a classical crossover.

Expanding the storytelling of optimistic determination, Michael uses his signature soundscape to compose the emotion of continuing in the face of difficulty.

Michael composes music for use in media to underpin visual images .... either composing to film or in support of an artistic brief. He studied at Thinkspace Education. He has an in-depth understanding of the music to film process.
