The Blue Highways - Long Way to the Ground (2020)

Formed in early 2018, four piece Americana band The Blue Highways have quickly cemented themselves as a fixture on the Americana scene in the UK. Having built a reputation as a commanding live act driven by big vocals, close harmonies, and narrative led songs, they’ve already played some of the best Americana festivals in Europe and supported some of the biggest acts in the genre including Iris Dement at the Sage Gateshead, Robert Vincent at Country in The Afternoon, and Bennett Wilson Poole on their first UK tour.

In August 2019 they released their debut four-track EP ‘The Blue Highways’, recorded with Chris Clarke at Reservoir Studios in London, to wide acclaim:

Appearing at festivals this Summer and over the last 12 months including AmericanaFestUK, Tonder Fest (Denmark), The British Country Music Festival, Summertyne Americana festival, Millport Country Music Festival to name a few, they are also established regulars on the London gigging circuit playing at some of the best Americana nights the city has to offer: What’s Cookin, Come Down and Meet The Folks, Country in the Afternoon and more.
