Rod Demick:
Born - Prestatyn, Wales 17/March/1947. Moved to Ireland when five. At school played in a skiffle group called "the Vibros", which became "the Telstars" and lasted from 1958 to 1964, when he came to England. Three years with rock band The Wheels and 18 months with Screaming Lord Sutch. Formed a band with Herbie Armstrong until the end of 1972 when he became a songwriter with Valley Music. Joined Bees Make Honey in January 1974, in Strawbs from 1985 to 1998, and was also a member of Ron Kavana's bands The Bucks & Alias Ron Kavana in the 1990s.

Herbie Armstrong:
Born in Belfast, played in Irish showbands before moving to the English rock scene with Screaming Lord Sutch. Played with The Wheels, Fox, Yellow Dog and Van Morrison.
