Ivan Grebenschikov - Sense and Sensitivity (2020)

The album contains 7 tracks between academic and improvisational music. In each composition, the ratio of pre-composed music to improvisational is different, different compositional techniques and instructions for improvisation are used. My music is characterized by sudden stylistic leaps - you can hear the influence of both jazz musicians and academic composers of the 20th century.

These 7 compositions are a deliberate clash of styles in an attempt to find a balance in today's world, expressed in the balance between popular and avant-garde music, between cold academism and expressive spontaneity, between sense and sensitivity.
