But Tobias Feldmann, not yet 25, goes the whole hog: on his first Genuin CD there are heavyweights like Beethoven and Bartók, alternating with Eugène Ysaye and the magical sleight of hand for violin by Franz Waxman – his Carmen-Fantasy was composed for Jascha Heifetz.
