Jensen's Juke Joint took shape in the summer of 2017, after playing at Orø Midsummer Days. The reception of the music was overwhelming, and what should have been a one nigth stand, turned into many evenings with blues at clubs, cafes and privately in West Zealand. In the autumn of 2019, Jensen's Juke Joint went to the studio at Michael Johansen's Bognæse Road Studie in Holbæk, and recorded a number of the original songs from Stig Jensen's hand, which came on top of his travels in e.g. Mississippi and Louisisana.
