New album by the Apulian guitarist Fabrizio Savino, entitled "The rising sun" available from 10 July for Inner Urge Records, an Apulian reality active since 2019 with the aim of combining booking and management services with the production and promotion of Italian artists and international. Inner Urge organized Savino's second South Africa tour in 2019, and set up tours and masterclasses in Italy, France, a US tour postponed due to the pandemic. The Pugliese's album will be the first project as a record label. After the success of Gemini, his latest album released in 2016 (A.MA Records), which has won numerous awards and has been reviewed throughout Europe and broadcast by the most important radios in the world (France, Norway, Germany, Italy, Greece , Spain, Finland, USA, Canada, Japan), Savino with “The rising sun” explores more sounds influencing the modern jazz sound that distinguishes him with his rock origins from Frank Zappa to Jimi Hendrix. "The rising sun" is a musical journey that collects two jazz standards and eight original compositions, an important step for the guitarist who relives all the musical influences and experiences that have formed him starting from the classical music of Prokofiev, Mozart and Stravinsky up to get to Miles Davis and all the great musicians of the jazz scene who have marked him. Rounding out the trio are Luca Alemanno on double bass and Sebastian Merk on drums.

Inner Urge is also launching a project to bring out young talents. In February 2021 there was a masterclass on the "booking" of concerts held by a Dutch musician resident in NY and in the spring one on the musical production held by Maestro Antonello D'Urso (guitarist and sound engineer of Franco Battiato, Lucio Dalla, Angelo Branduardi and many others). Inner Urge is also attentive to social issues and has given birth to the "Inner Urge for Humanity: Music supports humanity" project. The first initiative of the project was born to support the fundraising of the Puglia Civil Protection to deal with the health emergency that our country has faced in recent months.

Fabrizio Savino is an Apulian guitarist with three leader discs ("Metropolitan Prints", "Aram" and "Gemini") and six sideman discs. His latest album, made in 2016, was nominated among the "Best 100 European Jazz Albums" by the influential Italian magazine Jazzit, "Album of the week" from the famous Fahrenheit program on Rai Radio Tre and album of the year by the Subsidiary .net. The guitarist has been reviewed by several magazines and in an article on “All about jazz” Roberto Paviglianiti considers him “one of the best young guitarists in circulation stylistically inspired by John Scofield”. During his career Savino shared the stage with great international artists: Vladimir Kostadinovic, Flavio Boltro, Simon Moullier, Cédric Hanriot, Antonello Salis and Tony Monaco. The Apulian guitarist has played in some important international jazz clubs and festivals such as the Petrovac Jazz Fest (Montenegro), the Locus, the Locomotive Jazz Fest, the Tuscia in Jazz, the Unisa Jazz Festival (South Africa) and the Thailand Jazz Conference (Thailand ).
