Bei dieser Box mit zehn CDs muss man nicht lange überlegen, ob sich der Kauf lohnt. Denn sie ist selbst für langjährige Sammler eine wahre Schatzkiste mit 200 tollen Songs, die nicht schon -zigmal wiederveröffentlicht worden sind. Wer heute Musik einfach aus dem Internet lädt, kann sich gar nicht mehr vorstellen, wie mühsam (und auch kostspielig) es noch vor wenigen Jahrzehnten war, all diese Rockabilly-Knaller auf Vinyl aufzutreiben. Sämtliche Songs stammen aus der zweiten Hälfte der 1950er Jahre und machen hörbar, was für tolle Musik damals produziert wurde - handgemacht, ganz ohne Computer und 64 Spur-Mischpult. Neben bekannten Namen aus der Rockabilly-Szene bieten die zehn CDs viele Überraschungen, bei denen die Post abgeht. Weil der Platz an dieser Stelle nicht reicht, hier nur einige wenige Beispiele: Die Instrumentalgruppe Jet-Tones ist mit dabei, Lee Denson, Dick Classer, Kip Tyler und Eddie Fontaine, auch die weiblichen Rock'n'Roller sind durch Janis Martin, Jean Shepard, Thelma Blackmon, Rose Maddox oder die Creel Sisters zahlreich vertreten. Inzwischen ist bei Documents unter dem Titel ''Rock-A-Billy Dynamite'' sogar eine Mega-Box mit sage und schreibe 1000 Titeln auf 40 CDs erscheinen - Rock n Roll Musikmagazin
