MP Jazz Legacy Quartet - A Cool Way to Say Thank You (2019)

In the fall of 2016, during the concerts of the Great Jazz City Orchestra of Udine Concerts, Maurizio Pagnutti met Piero Cozzi again after almost 30 years. After several evenings "on the road" dedicated to the memories and devotion they both shared about the summer courses they attended in 1988 at Siena Jazz, THE MAURIZIO PAGNUTTI JAZZ LEGACY QUARTET was born.
The quartet also includes Paolo Virzi on double bass and Bruno Chesselli on piano. They make up their repertoire from both original works and original works of COOL JAZZ PERIOD.
In the spring of 2017, this first record was recorded with great enthusiasm. (Maurizio Pagnutti)
"BEPO" is a song dedicated to the late Giuseppe Pagnutti, grandfather of Maurizio Pagnutti, which was written by his father Dino Pagnutti. For this special occasion, it was redesigned by Bruno Chesselli.
