"On his debut album, tenor saxophonist Patrieck Bonnet brings homage to his grandfather, the late Karel van Dijck; he is mostly known as composer for Wind Orchestra and regarded as an innovator by music critics of his time. Patrieck has arranged a number of his grandfather’s works (i.e. Suite Antiqua, Three Inventions and Partita Capriccioso) and added 2 compositions of his own, finding inspiration in giants like , Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Gerald Finzi, George Garzone and Vince Mendoza."
