Duo Edan - Von ungarischer und jüdischer Seele (2012)

They are ambivalent emotional realms ranging between passion and grief. The young musicians Édua Zádory, violin, and Anastasiia Dombrovska, piano, feel very personally associated with these moods of the Jewish and Hungarian soul, which cannot be expressed in words, not least due to their own roots (they are of Hungarian or Polish-Ukrainian descent). Hence, their interpretations of works by the composers George Perlman, Jenö Hubay, Joseph Achron, Johannes Brahms, Ernest Bloch, Maurice Ravel and Franz Liszt seem sensed by the same breath and heart, enthralling a broad public in Austria and abroad with their great technical and musical accuracy.
