Ildebrando Mura - Mottetti Giubilari dal XVI al XX secolo (2015)

The program presented by the Chapelle Musicale de la Trinitè des Monts is dedicated to jubilee pieces composed by ancient and contemporary Chapel Masters of the Roman Basilicas. They are articulated in the CD Masters of the Musical Chapel of San Giovanni in Laterano as GIOVANNI GIORGI (mid-17th century-1726) working in the Basilica from 1719 to 1725, GIROLAMO CHITI (1715-1759) director from 1726 to 1753, GIOVANNI BATTISTA CASALI ( 1715-1792) who was director of the Basilica until his death. Another director of the Musical Chapel of San Giovanni in Laterano taken into consideration is GIUSEPPE OTTAVIO PITONI, born in Rieti in 1657, he was active in the Basilica from 1708 to 1719 to then go on to direct the Giulia Chapel of the Basilica of San Pietro.
