The Cerberus Shoal reissue series resumes with Chaiming the Knobblessone, the deepest dive yet into the collective subconscious of the New England experimental folk ensemble. Originally released in 2003 and produced by Scott Colburn (Sun City Girls, Climax Golden Twins), Chaiming the Knobblessone continued Cerberus Shoal’s exploration of their own psyches, as expressed via surrealist themes, global musical influences, abstract poetry, and theatrical arrangements that often feel like a shattered radio play from another dimension.
