Orange Crate Art - Contemporary Guitar Music (2022)

We here at Somewherecold have been long time fans of Malmo, Sweden’s Orange Crate Art. After a few years of trying to sync up with the artist so he could joint the label, Orange Crate Art and Somewherecold were finally able to get our schedules together and the result is, quite frankly, incredible. Contemporary Guitar Music is a feast for the ears as beats, guitar swirls and so much more populate the soundscape. The first single, “Stud Phaser”, is just a taste of what the entire album will bring to the table.

Moments of psych brilliance, jazz influences, neo-classical composition, and an ever present depth to each track, Contemporary Guitar Music is an incredible premiere for Orange Crate Art on Somewherecold Records. As someone who has heard what is coming, I can tell you that the brilliance of Orange Crate Art‘s work is just the tip of the iceberg moving forward.
