Daniel Migliosi, born in 2004, started his musical education at the age of nine. Born in a musical family, he grew up with music in his soul and the trumpet in his hand. After some years of learning his first notes in the regional music school, and playing in the village orchestra, Migliosi went to the Conservatory of Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg, to develop further musically.

In his initially classical career, he won several first prizes at "Concours Jeunes Solistes" and played concerts throughout Europe, as a soloist, with orchestras or brass ensembles.

In 2019, he received a scholarship from "Brass Week Samedan" in Switzerland, where he was able to study with renowned teachers like Gábor Tarkövi, Laura Vukobratovic, Frits Damrow, Wolfgang Guggenberger, Klaus Schuhwerk, Benny Brown and many others.

Already in his early youth, he took his first steps as a jazz musician and quickly made a name for himself on the Luxembourg jazz scene.

In 2020, he joined the class of Prof. Andy Haderer and Matthias Bergmann at "Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln" and became the lead trumpet player of "JugendJazzOrchester Saar". In the same year, his band "Retrospective 5tet" played several big concerts, like in summer, where they had the chance to be the opening act for "Kyle Eastwood 5tet".

In 2021, Migliosi founded the band called "Daniel Migliosi 5tet". With Adrian Gallet (tenor saxophone), Benedikt Göb (piano), Jan Blikslager (bass) and Mathieu Clement (drums), he will release his debut album in 2022.
