Like many others, I had seen the new “gold shows” on television, but had never panned before. I soon discovered that there were gold-bearing streams in New Hampshire and the journey began.

What an adventure... Kick in the four wheel drive. I soon learned that gold was not easy to get and that hard work was involved. This did not stop me. Eventually, I would travel five states in my quest for that precious yellow metal. In Vermont, I saw nuggets dug up ten feet from where I was prospecting. This kept me going and the fever brewed within me.

A true destiny, the “Gold Adventures” became a way of life. Meeting so many nice people, many of them from the West Coast as well.
