Steve Terry Project - Last Light (2023)

‘Last Light’ is the debut album by five-piece jazz-fusion group the Steve Terry Project. With influences ranging from 1930s jazz ballads to modern electronic music, STP takes the listener on a refreshing musical journey filled with catchy melodies and soaring solos. Recorded live in November 2020 at Stanwood Studios, ‘Last Light’ captures a moment in time full of improvisation and musical back and forth.

The ensemble is lead by songwriter and guitarist Steve Terry and features Jacob Selvaggi on tenor saxophone, Kevin Day on keyboards, Quentin Smith on bass guitar, and Mason Davis on drums and percussion. All but one of the tunes are instrumental, with the exception being the final track ‘It Doesn’t’ which features the lovely vocals of Jennifer Zuiff.
