Maestro is a franco-scottish duo started in 2010 with the release of A War Zone EP on Tigersushi. Frederic Soulard is behind the machines, he's the sound wizard and this is his first “solo” project after working with Poni Hoax for years, being Joakim's live sound engineer for even more years and collaborating with a bunch of other projects, mostly as a producer (Jeanne Balibar, Limousine, Viking, Viva & The Diva etc).

Mark Kerr is the voice. Born and raised in Glasgow, Mark has been a drummer all his life, being on tour with Rita Mitsouko since the 90s until he joined Joakim's band and other cutting edge Parisian electro acts like Bo'Tox. With Maestro he dropped the drum sticks and reveals what an amazing singer / songwriter he is while fueiling the project with his post punk and industrial influences (like Throbbing Gristle).

Their second release in 2012, Timbuck, already got them some high profile admirers, with the Horrors accepting to make a remix of the single.

2 years later they finally finished their debut album and released another single, the freaky obsessive Mechant (litterally Mean ) and a few months later Thriller Killer with an amazing remix by Matias Aguayo (Comeme).
