Since its creation, ANAKRONIC has never ceased to play with time codes, mixing past folklore and cryptic futurism. The music is simultaneously timeless and linked to frozen snapshots, from the ghostly clarinets of klezmorims to the accordion flights of the past century, passing through the mechanical beats of electro and the trembling sounds of modular synthesizers. ANAKRONIC transforms sound materials, songs, instruments, legacies of the past. The group appropriates these pieces of recorded stories, traditions and realities, makes them their own and invents music, myths, stories borrowed from an imaginary past and a parallel present.
